May 2016 Reading Wrap-up

My oh my oh my! Is it just me or did May fly by? I feel like I was just taking my finals and finishing up this semester. That being said, I am shocked by the number of books I read this month. And the lucky number is…14! Yes even with finals going on I read 14 books, the highest number of books I’ve read in a month this year. I have to say though, that number would of been a low month for me last year. When I think about it, I am happy with this number and excited to see if I can beat it in June.

  1. Girl Against the Universe by Paula Stokes 5/5 stars
  2. Ashes to Ashes by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian 4/5 stars
  3. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins 5/5 stars
  4. Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins 5/5 stars
  5. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins 4/5 stars
  6. Chosen by Nancy Holder 2/5 stars
  7. 15th Affair by James Patterson 4/5 stars
  8. The Crown by Kiera Cass 4/5 stars
  9. Vampire Academy Richelle Mead 3/5 stars
  10. Frostbite by Richelle Mead 4/5 stars
  11. Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead 4/5 stars
  12. Blood Promise by Richelle Mead 4/5 stars
  13. Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead 3/5 stars
  14. Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead 5/5 stars

I have to say May was a month full of great books, I mean a 4/5 average for the month…can’t really beat that. I mean yes there were the low points like Chosen, but overall, great books all around. I hope June will bring me the same!
