Hello there my bookish peeps! I am back after being gone last week. I had plan on having quite a few posts up last week, but last Sunday I woke up to the news that one of my best friends had passed away and I decided that I needed to focus on myself and how I was feeling instead of on my blog. That being said, I am doing much better and plan on doubling up on my usual weekly blog posts like TBR Tuesday and New Release Wednesday this week to help make up for it. Along with these, I will have a few reviews and promo posts up throughout the week.
This past week, I didn’t read much and struggled to read, because my mind was a bit clouded over cause of what happen, so I’m hoping that I can pull myself together and get more reading done. I won’t be reading too much as I will also be studying for finals which are coming up next week for me.
The first book I plan on reading this week is Deal Breaker by Harlan Coben. I started this book last week and currently 124 pages into it, and I am really enjoying it so far. One of my coworkers recommended that I check out Harlan Coben and I am very glad that I did. Deal Breaker is the first book in the Myron Bolitar series. As of right now, I plan on finishing this series, as well as starting the YA series about Myron’s nephew that Harlan Coben started writing a few years ago.
The second book I plan on reading is Punishment Summer by Peggy Rothschild. I received a copy of this book from Ms. Rothschild recently and I’m quite excited to start. There seems to be a lot going on in it, so I’m excited to see how it all ties in together. I’m not going to give much details about it here, as I will have a TBR Tuesday post up tomorrow showcasing the book.
These are the two books that I plan on reading this week. Like I said, I’m not going to try to over do myself with reading, as I’m trying to get myself back into reading after struggling to get into it this past week, and I have finals coming up that I need to study for.
Let me know below what you’re reading this week 🙂
